Title: Applesauce-Oatmeal Cookies

1 3/4cAll-purpose flour
1/2tsBaking soda
1/2tsBaking powder
1/2tsSalt
1tsCinnamon
1/2tsCloves
1/2tsNutmeg
3/4cRaisins
1cQuick oatmeal
1/2cButter
1cSugar
1 Egg
1cUnsweetened applesauce
1/2cWalnuts; chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour with baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices. Stir in raisins and oatmeal.

In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar; add egg and beat until fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with applesauce to the creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
